What I bring to my work

Experience across technology, customer services and leadership.

For four years I was Head of Infrastructure and Operations at team.blue, reporting to the Group CTO and leading the teams that run our network, storage, compute, hosting platforms, and email and DNS. As the organisation moved from functions to divisions, I am now the CTO in the new Infrastructure Division.

Before that, I spent two decades working my way up from first-line support through data centre engineering, customer services and country management. That path shapes how I work: I understand the technology, the customer experience and the commercial reality, and I try to keep all three in view when making decisions. I’ve led data centre consolidations, technical due diligence and post-merger integration, and large vendor negotiations.

My focus now is helping small and medium-sized businesses prepare their infrastructure for AI. I start with the business need: what a company wants to achieve, what its workloads require, and how its infrastructure can evolve as those needs change. Whether a business is trying AI for the first time or building its own workloads, the aim is the same: sound choices now, and a foundation that can grow.

People remain central to all of it. The best results I’ve seen come from teams that are trusted, well supported and clear about what matters.
